The MiiN network
The FMBA created the MiiN to develop relationships between brokers who are natural persons who are members of Associations and Syndicates, members of the FMBA, as well as individual members approved by the Federation.
With a view to expanding its activities and to bringing closer ties between fellow members of the member associations of the FMBA and meeting the professional and commercial needs of markets in the countries of the Mediterranean, the General Assembly of The FMBA approved the creation of a professional network under the title of “Mediterranean Insurance Intermediary Network” (MiiN).
MiiN’s structure and regulations were approved and implemented by the Board of Directors of the FMBA on 30 June 2016 in Paris. The administration of MiiN is based on the following regulations:
- The statutes of the FMBA Federation Méditerranéen des Brokers D’assurances.
- Memorandum Of Understanding among members of the network.
- Code of Practice for the Practice and Administration of Business.
- A system of periodic reporting.
The objectives of MiiN
- To develop the relations between individual brokers who are members of the Associations and Unions, members of the FMBA, as well as individual members approved by the federation.
- Facilitate professional commercial and technical exchanges in insurance matters.
- Serving the interests of Dealer Members and their clients in FMBA member countries.
- Exchange insurance services anywhere in the world either through MiiN’s membership in similar regional or international networks, or through one of its members adhering to these networks.
- Organize conferences / seminars about the profession.
