The FMBA will organize a summer course this year in collaboration with the International University of Andalusia (UNIA – www.unia.es). It will take place in September at the La Rábida campus (Huelva) of this university. These are training sessions aimed at members of our Federation, as well as other associations, collaborating and related brokerages.
The course consists of three days of classes and, although the program is still to be fully determined, it will seek to provide knowledge about the insurance sector in the different markets of the Mediterranean basin (southern Europe and northern Africa), as well as discuss how the insurance sector can or should face the new challenges of our time, such as cyberattacks or climate disasters. Therefore, the attending professionals will obtain valuable information for the more efficient management of the national and international operations they carry out. For this, we will have experts from Lloyd’s company, responsible for giving some master classes.
The course will be accredited by the International University of Andalusia itself and attendees will receive an official diploma certifying their participation in these sessions. In the coming weeks, the training program will be determined, and the registration period will open.
This summer course is part of the FMBA’s program of activities for 2024, which also includes professional exchange between broker associations.
